With an intensive rubinroten Color and granatroten Reflexen präsentiert er in der Nase komplexe Aromen von reifen roten Früchten, Kirschen, Brombeeren, würzigen Noten wie Vanille und ätherischen Anklängen, die auf die Reifung zurückzuführen sind. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich strukturiert, weich und samtig, mit einem Gleichgewicht zwischen Süße und Säure, das typisch für den Jahrgang 1963 ist, der durch günstige climatische Bedingungen gekennzeichnet war, die eine hervorragende Reifung der Trauben begünstigten.
