Arbois im Osten Frankreichs ist der Spitzname am produced in the Jura-Weinregion for Rot-, Weiß- and Roséweine. Also the berühmten Jura-Stile Vin Jaune und Vin de Paille (Gelbwein und Strohwein) können hier hergestellt werden, aber Arbois hat sich seinen Ruf vor allem with Rotweinen erworben. The Stadt Arbois is the regional Weinhauptstadt des Jura. Etwa 70 Prozent der Jura-Rotweine werden unter dem Namen Arbois produziert. Savagnin and Chardonnay are the white varieties. Fertige Arbois-Weine decken eine bemerkenswerte Bandbreite des Weinfarbspektrums ab. Einheimische verwenden neben Rot, Weiß und Rosa häufig auch Bezeichnungen wie Corail (Koralle) und Ruby (Rubin).
