Die 169. Auflage der Grande Cuvée hat Krug nach zwei schwierigen Jahren Glück gebracht. Der Jahrgang 2013 lieferte außergewöhnliche Früchte aus den alten Weinbergen von Ambonnay und Ricey. Kellermeisterin Julie Cavil sagt: "Die Chardonnays des Jahrgangs waren wunderbar frisch und rein, mit großer Intensität und Länge, während die Pinot Noirs kräftig und anhaltend waren, mit einer dezenten Frucht, und die Pinot Meunier Struktur, Spannung und Lebendigkeit hinzufügte." The new Ausgabe des KGC is a erstaunliche Mischung aus 146 Weinen aus 11 verschiedenen Jahrgängen. The first wine was made in January 2013, the first wine was made in January 2000. The best cuvée is 43% of Pinot Noir, 35% of Chardonnay and 22% of Meunier, with a Reifung of 84 Monaten in the Krug-Kellern.
