Dieser Chianti Classico wird ausschließlich aus Sangiovese-Trauben hergestellt, die von Weinbergen in Istine (Radda in Chianti), Casanova dell'Aia (Radda in Chianti), Cavarchione (Gaiole in Chianti) und zu einem kleinen Teil von Tibuca und Le Noci stammen. Die Böden erstrecken sich über eine Gesamtfläche von etwa 21 Hektar in einer durchschnittlichen Höhe von 500 m ü.d.M. und sind reich an Skelettboden, mit abwechselnd Mergelkalk und Lehm. Die Pflanzdichte beträgt 5.000 Rebstöcke pro Hektar, und der Anbau erfolgt zertifiziert biologisch, mit Guyot-Erziehungssystem. Die Lese erfolgt manuell, gefolgt von einer 15-20-tägigen alkoholischen Gärung in Zement- und Edelstahltanks bei kontrollierter Temperatur. Die Maischegärung auf den Schalen dauert 3 bis 8 Wochen, mit malolaktischer Gärung in Edelstahl- und Zementtanks. Der Wein reift 12 Monate in slawonischen Eichenfässern und teilweise in Zementtanks. Die durchschnittliche Produktion beträgt 60.000 Flaschen.
