Der Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG ist ein außergewöhnlicher Ausdruck der Hügel von Acquaviva in Montepulciano (SI). Dieser Wein, der hauptsächlich aus Prugnolo Gentile-Trauben (Sangiovese) gewonnen wird, durchläuft eine sorgfältige Vinifikation mit temperaturkontrollierter Mazeration und täglichem Umpumpen, gefolgt von einer postfermentativen Mazeration. Mindestens 18 Monate im Eichenholz und 6 Monate in der Flasche gereift, präsentiert er sich mit einem vollen, anhaltenden Geschmack, mit ausgeprägten Tanninen und einer guten Säure, die seine robuste Struktur abrundet. Er passt hervorragend zu gebratenem rotem Fleisch und gereiftem Käse. Es wird empfohlen, ihn bei 18°C in großen Gläsern zu servieren, um seine Komplexität vollends zu genießen.
