The Barolo from Marchesi di Barolo is a historic red wine of great elegance and prestige, produced in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe by one of the most iconic wineries in the Italian wine tradition. Made primarily from Nebbiolo grapes, this Barbaresco belongs to one of the classic vintages of the late 1960s, which is highly sought after today by connoisseurs and collectors of old wines.
With its intense garnet-red color and orange hues resulting from extended aging, it develops a complex and mature bouquet with notes of wilted rose, dried violet, ripe cherry, spices, tobacco, leather, underbrush, and subtle balsamic nuances.
