Langhe Dolcetto DOC comes from hilly vineyards in Castellinaldo d'Alba, planted in 1975, with a western exposure on mixed soils of marl and sand. Cultivated with low espalier with Guyot pruning, the vineyard is managed sustainably, with organic fertilisers and low environmental impact protection. The manual harvest takes place in mid-September, selecting the best grapes. After fermentation in steel at 30°C, the wine ages in steel for a few months and refines for 3 months in the bottle. It has a ruby colour with violet reflections, a fruity aroma of marasca cherry and a dry, fresh and fruity flavour.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
