Barolo Bussia is produced from a selection of the finest Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Rocche, Munie, and Fiurin vineyards, all located in the Bussia area at an elevation of approximately 250–350 meters above sea level. After gentle crushing and a long maceration, fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, without the use of sulfites. The wine ages for 24 months in small oak barrels and, once bottled, matures for another 6 months before release. Barolo Bussia offers a bouquet of delicate aromas of great finesse, ranging from floral notes to fruity, spicy, and balsamic hints. On the palate, the silky, refined tannins are harmoniously integrated with a pleasant freshness. An intense, structured wine with great balance, it combines notes of red fruit with tertiary nuances that are consistently elegant and delicate. At the table, it pairs perfectly with truffle-based pasta dishes, roasted red meats, and fine game.
