The farm belongs to the Sella family, whose vocation as a wine producer dates back to the 17th century (1671). Bramaterra wine is produced with Nebbiolo (50-70%), Croatina (20-30%), Bonarda (rare grape) and Vespolina (10-20%) grapes, either together or individually. It comes from the slopes that, sheltered by the great Alps, are on the edges of the Po Valley. The Bramaterra region, east of Lessona, includes various municipalities on a hilly strip up to the eastern edge of the province of Biella. Characterized by volcanic soils, it is home to vineyards with an average age of 45 years, with some plantings dating back to 1933. Managed manually, they follow principles similar to those of Lessona, with row training and Guyot pruning. The vineyards, largely not thinned, produce quality grapes.
