Cabernet Sauvignon - 2016 - Chimney Rock
Chimney Rock was founded in 1980 by Hack and Stella Wilson, who purchased a 180-acre parcel on Silverado Trail and planted vineyards shortly thereafter. The first harvest was in 1984, and in the 1990s, a grand Cape Dutch-style building with a Ganymede frieze was built. In 2000, the Terlato family joined the Wilsons, aiming to elevate the winery’s reputation for Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, Chimney Rock boasts 119 acres of vineyards divided into 28 blocks, allowing for highly specialized viticulture.
