Cantina Paolo Manzone is a well-established family-owned winery in the heart of the Langhe, in Serralunga d'Alba. Founded in 1999 by Paolo and Luisella Manzone, the winery traces its history back five generations of winemakers, with roots dating to the 19th century in the town of Monforte d'Alba. The winery owns approximately 15 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Sinio, Serralunga d’Alba, and Roddino, with vines ranging in age from 25 to 60 years. Annual production amounts to about 80,000 bottles, including Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba, and Barolo, all of which authentically express the terroir. The winery’s production philosophy is based on sustainable practices and the use of a mix of wooden barrels for aging, in order to preserve the authenticity of the grape varieties and the terroir. The Manzone family also offers tours of the winery, allowing wine lovers to discover the history and passion that define their wines.

I ordered three bottles: a 1999 French wine that I opened recently—it was a huge hit.
The other two were a Barolo Serralunga d’Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d’Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015. I haven’t opened them yet, but they look very promising.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent; the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and stuck out, but I managed to protect it anyway.
Great prices you won’t find on other similar sites.
I’ll definitely be back to buy more.
