E’ un Super Tuscan che sprigiona un'opulenza e una potenza quasi sfrontate, figlie di un blend internazionale che ha saputo catturare l'anima calda della Toscana. Nel calice si presenta con un colore rosso rubino impenetrabile, quasi inchiostro. Al naso è un'esplosione di intensità: un concentrato di frutti neri maturi, confettura di more e amarene, che si fondono in un abbraccio complesso con spezie dolci, pepe nero, tabacco e sfumature di cacao fondente. All'assaggio è monumentale: solido, strutturato e robusto, avvolge il palato con una densità impressionante, offrendo tannini rotondi e vellutati che, nonostante siano passati oltre vent'anni, mantengono il vino incredibilmente vivo e ancora nel pieno della sua giovinezza, proiettandolo verso un finale persistente e maestoso.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
