Planeta, a leading Sicilian producer of quality wines, began its history in the 1980s in Menfi, where the family began planting their first vineyards. Today, 250 hectares of vineyards are planted on clay soil with an excellent percentage of lemon. Alastro is a white wine that, in its simplicity, offers strong emotions. It's made from 80% Grecanico and 20% Sauvignon Blanc, an aromatic variety that has adapted well to the terroir. It's a delicate wine with aromas of tropical fruit, fresh citrus, and white flowers.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
