Il Barbaresco DOCG di Belcolle nasce nei vigneti di Nebbiolo situati nei comuni di Barbaresco, Neive e Treiso. Le viti sono coltivate su terreni sabbiosi e calcarei a un’altitudine ideale con esposizione sud-sudovest, caratteristiche che donano al vino una struttura elegante e ben bilanciata. La vinificazione avviene in vasche di acciaio inox a temperatura controllata, seguita da una lunga macerazione e fermentazione malolattica. Il vino affina per 24 mesi in botti di rovere, prima di un ulteriore riposo in bottiglia. Il risultato è un Barbaresco dal colore rosso rubino con riflessi granato, con un bouquet di frutti rossi, prugne e ciliegie. Al palato è vellutato, equilibrato e con una piacevole acidità. Perfetto da abbinare a carni rosse, selvaggina, piatti con funghi e formaggi stagionati. Servire a 18°C per apprezzarne appieno le caratteristiche.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
