Il Cru Faset è una delle aree più rinomate del Barbaresco, storicamente appartenuta ai Conti Cocito di Neive e ora suddivisa tra diversi proprietari. Situato in una ripida conca esposta a sud, con il lato occidentale che declina verso il fiume Tanaro, il vigneto si estende per circa 3 ettari nella cascina Cabanet. I terreni ricchi di calcio e magnesio conferiscono ai vini tannini setosi e un'eleganza distintiva. Parte del sito UNESCO "Paesaggi Vitivinicoli di Langhe-Roero e Monferrato", il vino si presenta con un colore rosso rubino granato, profumo di petali di rosa appassita, frutti rossi e spezie fini. Al gusto è strutturato, elegante, con tannini finissimi e una marcata mineralità.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
