Un Barbaresco raffinato e profondo, proveniente dal cru Montersino nella zona di San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, ad Alba. Realizzato da Nebbiolo in purezza e affinato circa 20 mesi in botti grandi di rovere, si distingue per eleganza e complessità. Al naso rivela note di frutti di bosco maturi, violetta, spezie dolci e leggere sfumature minerali. Al palato è avvolgente e armonioso, con tannini setosi, ottima freschezza e un finale lungo e sapido che riflette la purezza del suo terroir. L’annata del 2022 è stata  segnata da un’estate calda ma equilibrata, mitigata da piogge di fine stagione e forti escursioni termiche. Le uve hanno raggiunto una maturazione perfetta, generando vini dal frutto ricco e maturo ma con acidità viva e tannini raffinati. Un millesimo generoso, armonico e già godibile, ma con ottimo potenziale di evoluzione.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
