Damilano's Barolo is a classic, long-aging expression of Nebbiolo, from one of Barolo's most prized vintages. After over forty years of aging, it presents itself as a mature, elegant, and nuanced wine, capable of expressing the full complexity of the Langhe terroir.
It displays an evolved garnet red color with orange highlights. The aromatic profile is intense and refined, with hints of dried rose, violet, ripe cherry, plum, leather, tobacco, oriental spices, licorice, undergrowth, truffle, and light balsamic notes. On the palate, it is broad and harmonious, with velvety tannins, a still present structure, and a long finish that evokes tertiary sensations of great elegance.
