Il Barolo 2014 di Poderi Luigi Einaudi è un vino rosso ottenuto da uve Nebbiolo in purezza che rappresenta uno stile classico ed elegante delle Langhe con particolare attenzione alla finezza più che alla potenza, si presenta nel calice con un colore rosso granato con riflessi aranciati già ben visibili segno di una certa evoluzione tipica dell’annata, al naso è complesso e raffinato con profumi di rosa appassita violetta piccoli frutti rossi spezie tabacco cuoio e leggere note balsamiche e terziarie che si sviluppano con l’ossigenazione, al palato è armonico ed equilibrato con una struttura presente ma non imponente tannini fini e ben integrati una buona freschezza che sostiene la bevuta e una trama elegante più che muscolare, il finale è lungo e persistente con ritorni speziati e floreali, l’annata 2014 è considerata fresca e meno concentrata rispetto ad altre ma ha dato vini molto eleganti e già abbastanza pronti da bere, si consiglia di servirlo a 16-18 gradi con una breve ossigenazione e si abbina bene a piatti strutturati come brasati arrosti carni rosse selvaggina primi ricchi e formaggi stagionati risultando nel complesso un Barolo fine equilibrato e immediato con buona bevibilità e stile tradizionale delle Langhe.
