Un Barolo elegante e armonioso, prodotto da Nebbiolo in purezza nei vigneti storici del Castello di Verduno, tra le colline di Verduno. Affinato in botti grandi di rovere, esprime profumi complessi di ciliegia, lampone, rosa, spezie dolci e leggere note balsamiche. Al palato è equilibrato, con tannini setosi, freschezza viva e un finale lungo, minerale e persistente. L’annata del 2020 è stata eccellente nelle Langhe, caratterizzato da un andamento climatico regolare. L’estate calda ma mai estrema e le fresche notti di fine stagione hanno favorito una maturazione ottimale delle uve, dando vita a vini armoniosi, eleganti e di immediata godibilità, con grande potenziale evolutivo.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
