Un Barolo elegante e di grande equilibrio, espressione autentica delle colline di La Morra. Ottenuto da Nebbiolo in purezza proveniente da vigneti come Boiolo, affina in botti di rovere per circa 24 mesi, sviluppando complessità e armonia. Al naso sprigiona profumi di ciliegia matura, rosa appassita, spezie fini e accenni balsamici. In bocca è raffinato, con tannini fitti ma vellutati, ottima freschezza e un finale lungo, minerale e persistente. L’annata del 2021 è considerata eccellente nelle Langhe. Dopo un inverno freddo e un’estate calda ma bilanciata da forti escursioni termiche, le uve hanno raggiunto una maturazione perfetta. I Barolo di questa annata sono potenti ma eleganti, con grande equilibrio tra frutto, struttura e acidità, destinati a una lunga evoluzione.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
