This Barolo has an alcohol content that varies depending on the vintage, but it features a garnet red color with orange highlights. On the nose, it offers intense and persistent aromas of fruit such as blueberry and black plum, with floral, spicy, and candied orange notes, as well as hints of licorice. On the palate, it is dry, savory, and warm, with good structure, firm tannins, and a slightly bitter finish. This Barolo comes from the "Helvetian" soils of Castiglione Falletto, known for producing powerful, long-lived wines, and is aged in wooden barrels.

Optimal

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.

Optimal

I was a little skeptical because of the very competitive prices.
The wine arrived in a couple of days, excellent packaging... bottles kept well and everything as described, of course aged wines are always a risk
I recommend the site
