Il Barolo Bussia Vigna Pianpolvere 2015 è un Barolo di forte impronta territoriale, proveniente dal cru Pianpolvere nella sottozona Bussia di Monforte d’Alba, una delle aree più vocate e strutturate della denominazione.

Si presenta con un colore rosso granato intenso, luminoso, con lievi riflessi aranciati che iniziano ad affacciarsi con l’evoluzione.

Al naso è ampio, stratificato e raffinato: emergono profumi di rosa appassita e viola, seguiti da ciliegia matura e prugna, poi note più profonde di liquirizia, tabacco, cuoio e spezie dolci. Con l’ossigenazione si sviluppano accenti balsamici, minerali e leggere sfumature terrose tipiche del cru.

In bocca è strutturato, potente ma armonico.

L’annata 2015, calda e generosa, conferisce al vino ricchezza e maturità di frutto, senza perdere equilibrio. È già godibile con adeguata ossigenazione, ma possiede importante potenziale evolutivo, capace di svilupparsi ulteriormente per molti anni.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
