La Cantina Boasso Franco è una storica azienda vinicola situata nel cuore della denominazione Barolo, a Serralunga d'Alba. Fondata negli anni '50 da Giuseppe Boasso, l'azienda ha visto un'espansione significativa negli anni '80, quando, insieme al figlio Franco, ha iniziato a produrre vino in proprio, utilizzando uve provenienti dai vigneti di famiglia. Oggi, l'azienda gestisce sette ettari di vigneti, tra cui i prestigiosi cru Gabutti e Margheria, noti per la loro esposizione e composizione del suolo ideali per la coltivazione del Nebbiolo. La produzione annuale è di circa 30.000 bottiglie, comprendenti Barolo, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, Roero Arneis e Moscato d'Asti. La cantina adotta metodi tradizionali, con lunghe macerazioni e affinamenti in botti di legno per almeno 36 mesi, producendo vini che riflettono fedelmente il terroir di Serralunga.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
