Un Barolo elegante e strutturato, prodotto da uve Nebbiolo provenienti dal cru Gattera, situato nel comune di La Morra. Le viti, di oltre 50 anni, crescono su terreni calcarei e ben esposti, ideali per una maturazione ottimale. La vinificazione avviene in acciaio con macerazione lunga, seguita da un affinamento di 20‑24 mesi in botti grandi di rovere e alcuni mesi in cemento, per preservare freschezza e finezza. L’annata del 2020 è stata eccellente nelle Langhe, caratterizzato da un andamento climatico regolare. L'estate calda ma non eccessiva e le fresche notti di fine stagione hanno favorito una maturazione ottimale delle uve, dando vita a vini armoniosi, eleganti e di immediata godibilità, con grande potenziale evolutivo.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
