Un Barolo di grande eleganza e profondità, espressione autentica del versante di Monforte d’Alba. Prodotto da Nebbiolo in purezza proveniente dal cru Le Coste di Monforte, affina in grandi botti di rovere per circa 30 mesi, nel rispetto dello stile tradizionale della cantina. Al naso offre aromi di ciliegia matura, viola, liquirizia e note speziate e balsamiche. In bocca è strutturato e armonico, con tannini fini e ben integrati, buona tensione e un finale lungo e minerale che richiama il terroir di origine. L’annata del 2021: eccellente nelle Langhe, caratterizzata da maturazioni equilibrate e clima stabile. Dopo un inverno freddo e un’estate calda ma ventilata, il Nebbiolo ha raggiunto una perfetta maturazione fenolica. I Barolo 2021 si distinguono per precisione aromatica, freschezza e tannini raffinati: vini eleganti, bilanciati e di grande prospettiva evolutiva.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
