Un Barolo armonioso ed elegante, ottenuto da uve Nebbiolo provenienti da diversi vigneti nei comuni di Barolo, Monforte e Verduno. Si presenta con un profilo fragrante e raffinato: profumi di ciliegia matura, rosa e viola, seguiti da note di spezie dolci, liquirizia e tabacco. Al palato è equilibrato e pieno, con tannini fini, freschezza viva e un finale lungo e minerale. Un vino che coniuga finezza ed equilibrio, interpretando con modernità la classicità del Barolo. L’annata del 2020 è stata  caratterizzata da un andamento climatico regolare e da un’estate calda ma senza eccessi, seguita da notti fresche che hanno preservato aromi e acidità. I Barolo di quest’annata mostrano grande purezza aromatica, tannini eleganti e ottimo potenziale evolutivo.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
