A Barolo with great personality and depth, from the prestigious Mosconi cru in Monforte d'Alba. Made from 100% Nebbiolo, it ages in oak barrels for over two years, developing a complex and harmonious profile. On the nose, it offers intense notes of ripe cherry and plum, dried rose, licorice, tobacco, and balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is powerful yet balanced, with dense, silky tannins, a well-integrated freshness, and a long, mineral finish that perfectly expresses the character of Mosconi's terroir. The 2021 vintage was an excellent one in the Langhe, marked by stable, warm but not extreme weather and a cool autumn that favored slow and complete ripening. This vintage's Barolos display structure, aromatic precision, and refined tannins: wines of great balance and longevity.
