l Barolo di Bovio nasce da uno dei cru più rinomati di Castiglione Falletto, su terreni calcareo-argillosi che donano eleganza e potenza al Nebbiolo. Dopo una lunga macerazione e un affinamento in botti di rovere, il vino esprime il carattere autentico del cru: profondo, complesso e finemente tannico. L’annata del 2021 è stata equilibrata nelle Langhe, caratterizzata da clima asciutto e buone escursioni termiche che hanno favorito una maturazione aromatica completa. I Barolo 2021 risultano freschi, eleganti e longevi, con tannini ben delineati e ottimo potenziale di invecchiamento.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
