Il Sangiovese, dopo una lunga macerazione sulle bucce nelle vasche d’acciaio riposa per 5 anni in botti di rovere. Le Due Sorelle è un omaggio a Giovanna e Fabia Cornaro, rispettivamente moglie e cognata di Ambrogio Folonari e proprietarie della Tenuta.

L’annata 2018 si presenta rosso rubino con riflessi dorati. Al naso aromi secondari e terziari di cedro, pompelmo, mandarino, vaniglia cioccolato al latte. In bocca asciutto e perfettamente armonico. Segue un corpo pieno con tannini sottili e delicati.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
