The Rio Grande Farm was founded in 1988 in Penna in Teverina, in the province of Terni, in Umbria, a region rich in ancient traditions. Respect for nature, a love of the land, and immense commitment have enabled the Pastore family, owners of the farm, to undertake a major reclamation project on over 52 hectares of land, abandoned for over 20 years. The farm currently boasts over 2,200 olive trees and two vineyards, planted in 1990 and 1991, for a total of over 12 hectares. The position and exposure of the land are ideal for growing grapes and producing quality wines.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
