The 2011 Château Rahoul Graves is a red wine produced in the Graves AOC appellation in the Bordeaux region, in the commune of Cadaujac, within the historic Gironde winemaking region. It is made by Château Rahoul, a property belonging to the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) group, known for producing wines that reflect the traditional character of the Graves terroir, characterized by gravelly soils mixed with sand and clay that favor drainage and aromatic concentration of the grapes. The wine is generally made from a typical Bordeaux blend dominated by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with occasional small percentages of Petit Verdot, varieties that together provide a balance between structure, softness, and aromatic freshness. Today, a bottle of this vintage can be considered at the stage of full expressive maturity, capable of offering a balanced and complex tasting experience, ideal when paired with roast red meats, grilled lamb, braised meats, or mature cheeses. Served at a temperature of around 16-18°C to best enhance its aromatic finesse and the typical structure of Graves reds.
