Chianti Classico DOCG è un vino prodotto nei comuni di San Casciano Val di Pesa e Barberino Tavarnelle, con vigneti situati tra i 325 e i 400 metri di altitudine. La vendemmia avviene tra la fine di settembre e la prima decade di ottobre, con raccolta manuale. La vinificazione avviene in vasche di cemento con una macerazione di 22-23 giorni, seguita da un affinamento di 14 mesi in tonneau di legno francese e 3 mesi in bottiglia. Con una gradazione alcolica del 13,5%, il vino si presenta di un rosso rubino intenso, con sentori fruttati maturi, floreali e note speziate al naso. In bocca è equilibrato, morbido e giustamente tannico, con una persistenza notevole. Si abbina perfettamente a carne rossa alla griglia, cacciagione e primi di carne, servito a una temperatura di 16°C.
