La Fattoria Belvedere Campòli si trova in una delle aree più prestigiose del Chianti Classico, proprio sul crinale delle colline fra Mercatale e Montefiridolfi. Siamo a circa 400 metri sul livello del mare. Qui, dal 2015, la famiglia Guicciardini produce i suoi Chianti Classico DOCG, forte di ottime esposizioni e terreni generosi. Il vitigno principe, neppure a dirlo, è il più toscano dei rossi, il Sangiovese, che viene vinificato in tini di acciaio e cemento. Al termine della trasformazione, poi, il vino subisce una maturazione di circa un anno in tonneaux. Colore rosso rubino, al naso si presenta con sentori tipici di frutti rossi e delicate note di erbe aromatiche. In bocca invece è fresco, con un bel frutto succoso e intenso. Vino di buona struttura, i tannini sono eleganti e ben bilanciati, mentre il finale è lungo e complesso. Inutile cercare un abbinamento diverso

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
