Clos des Lambrays is one of the five Grand Crus in the Morey-Saint-Denis commune and produces arguably the most distinctive wine. It belongs almost entirely to the Domaine des Lambrays. Only a small portion is owned by the Domaine Taupenot-Merme. Full-bodied, concentrated, and extraordinarily elegant, Clos des Lambrays possesses a rare aromatic complexity: notes of blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry, and over time, it acquires nuances of forest floor, truffle, spice, licorice, and violet. Its aging potential generally exceeds 20 years.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
