Questo vino nasce dal Nebbiolo, il vitigno simbolo della Langa, come una raffinata introduzione al "Re dei Vini". Le uve provengono da un vigneto dedicato e da filari vicini a vigneti non biologici, mantenendo una qualità eccellente. Dopo 14 mesi di affinamento in barriques di rovere francese di secondo passaggio e almeno 2 mesi in bottiglia, il risultato è un vino dal colore rosso rubino con sfumature granato e viola. Al naso offre profumi dolci e fruttati, mentre al palato si rivela secco, vellutato ed equilibrato, con tannini armoniosi bilanciati dall’acidità. Ideale con salumi, paste ripiene e carni arrosto.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
