Il Lirac “Lunar Apogé” 2016 del Domaine des Carabiniers è un rosso del Rodano meridionale che esprime in modo chiaro il carattere mediterraneo dell’appellazione Lirac. Prodotto da uve Grenache, Syrah e Mourvèdre coltivate in biodinamica, nasce da vendemmia notturna per preservare freschezza e integrità aromatica.

Al naso è intenso e ben definito, con note di frutta rossa e nera matura, spezie, liquirizia ed erbe aromatiche tipiche della garrigue. Emergono anche leggere sensazioni terrose e balsamiche che aggiungono complessità senza appesantire il profilo.

In bocca è strutturato ma equilibrato, con un corpo medio-pieno e tannini maturi e ben integrati. La freschezza sostiene il sorso e rende il vino scorrevole, mentre il finale è persistente, con richiami speziati ed erbacei.

È un vino coerente, ben fatto, che privilegia l’espressione del territorio e uno stile naturale ma pulito. Si abbina facilmente a carni arrosto o alla griglia, piatti della cucina mediterranea e formaggi stagionati.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
