La vinificazione avviene a contatto con le bucce, con una macerazione di circa 10 giorni a temperatura controllata, per preservare la freschezza degli aromi. Questo vino si presenta con un colore rosso rubino brillante e un profumo intenso e vinoso, caratterizzato da note di frutta rossa e more. I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
