Bruno Giacosa was a leading figure in the Italian wine world, particularly in the Barolo and Barbaresco appellations. Bruno grew up among the vineyards: at just 13 years old, he was already helping out in the family winery and quickly learned the importance of selecting the best clusters during the harvests; thanks to his expertise, he also made a name for himself as a skilled grape merchant. Before purchasing his estate, Azienda Agricola Falletto, he vinified grapes from prestigious crus. In the cellar, red wines undergo maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. White wines are aged in stainless steel tanks, while Barbera and Nebbiolo mature in large oak barrels. Aging lasts an average of 1 to 3 years, depending on the cuvée; the wines are then allowed to rest for some time in the bottle before being released for sale.
