Vosne-Romanée, Échezeaux, Gevrey-Chambertin… Domaine Jean-Pierre Guyon owns 8.5 hectares of vineyards in some of Burgundy's most beautiful terroirs. The estate was created in the pre-war period by Jean-Pierre and Michel Guyon's grandfather, in the purest Burgundian tradition. The two brothers took over the estate in the 1990s and today know every vineyard.
Long organic, the estate is currently converting to biodynamics (in 2020). Whole-bunch vinification, consistently used for the Pinot Noir, regardless of the vintage or cuvée, gives the wine remarkable style and precision. Sulfur is used sparingly. If you're a lover of finesse, don't miss the opportunity to taste one of the estate's reds. As for the whites, the estate naturally works with Chardonnay, but also with Pinot Blanc, with which the Guyon brothers produce lively and crisp wines—a true delight!
